A dream of a common language 2025
Work made to show at Townhouse Spitalfields, September 2025 - the title of the exhibition was taken from a line of a poem by Adrienne Riche, expressing the possibility and impossibility of communicating and connecting with people.Using this idea to explore how woven pieces of cloth formed of interconnecting threads can communicate meaning - is it possible and what kind of stories can be told?
